Animation Voice Acting

Animation is where voice actors get to stretch their legs a little.

 

A character can be larger than life, wonderfully subtle, completely ridiculous, or quietly heartfelt - sometimes all within the same story. That’s part of the joy of it.

As an actor, I love the process of discovering a character’s voice: how they move through the world, what sits behind their words, and the small vocal quirks that make them feel real rather than simply “performed”.

 

Alongside my commercial and narration work, character performance is something I return to again and again. It offers the freedom to play, explore and experiment — while still grounding each performance in believable emotion.

I’m very happy taking direction and equally happy playing — so if a session suddenly needs an extra side character, an alternative voice or a little improvisation, I’m always up for exploring.
I record broadcast-quality audio from my professional home studio in Oxfordshire, with live-directed remote sessions available, and I’m within easy reach of London studios.
